Description

Ethanol is a colorless, transparent, flammable and volatile liquid. It has the smell of wine and   pungent spicy taste. Soluble in water, methanol, ether and chloroform. Can dissolve many organic compounds and several inorganic compounds.

Ethanol is one of the important basic chemical raw materials. It is widely used in organic synthesis, medicine, pesticides and other industries. It is also an important organic solvent.

75% ethanol water solution has strong sterilization ability and is a commonly used disinfectant. Specially refined ethanol can also be used to make beverages. Similar to methanol, ethanol can be used as an energy source.
